We finally met Solange Knowles at Charlotte Ronson’s show and let her know how much we love her new photo blog and overall fierceness.

The polaroids on Solange’s new blog (aptly titled “My Damn Blog”) are so delightful. Between the much talked about “big chop” and her fun, eclectic vibe I’m really looking forward to seeing what she has in store for the future.

On a very related note, I recommend the lovely Clutch magazine piece Black Women And The Black Women We Don’t Get by La’Juanda “LJ” Knight, a musing on the antagonism that many brown ladies face when they express themselves ‘outside of the box.’
