    4. × The polaroids on Solange’s new blog (aptly titled “My Damn Blog”) are so delightful. Between the much talked about “big chop” and her fun, eclectic vibe I’m really looking forward to seeing what she has in store for the future.
On a very related note, I recommend the lovely Clutch magazine piece Black Women And The Black Women We Don’t Get by La’Juanda “LJ” Knight, a musing on the antagonism that many brown ladies face when they express themselves ‘outside of the box.’
(Thanks to Andrea for the heads up!)

    5. × Andrea at Fly did a SPOT ON post about Solange’s fabulous big chop. Well said! It’s great to see so many ladies in the pop realm being more adventerous with their tresses.
